Ms. Alannah, a seasoned educator with 20+ years of experience in the UK, joins AVE Academy’s P4 team, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a passion for fostering proactive and enthusiastic learners.
My name is Alannah Lazarski and this is my first year teaching at AVE Academy. I was born in Hanoi, but left Vietnam many years ago as a boat person. I am slowly learning to cope with the heat in Vietnam after spending most of my life in the UK, where it is famous for its rainy and cloudy days.
It is hard to believe I have been working in primary education in the UK for over twenty years, and worked as a primary teacher for the last seventeen years. I feel privileged and very happy to be teaching your children in P4. I hope to utilise the best practices from the UK to bring the curriculum alive for the children. In recent years, I have been teaching in a number of private schools, at primary level, which were similar to AVE Academy.
I believe that in order to help children in their development to be effective learners and members of society, they should question when and what they don’t understand, be proactive, and always challenge themselves to the maximum in their learning. I hope the children leave P4 with happy memories and I am looking forward to be a part of that.
