The AVE Academy Tet Fair 2026 was a vibrant explosion of color, tradition, and community spirit. Tet, or the Vietnamese Lunar New Year, is the most significant celebration in Vietnamese culture—a sacred time for renewal, family reunions, and honoring the heritage that binds generations together. At AVE Academy, this annual event serves as a bridge between our international and local families, allowing us to celebrate the heart of Vietnam as one unified community.
Welcoming the Year of the Horse
This year’s AVE Academy Tet Fair 2026 held special significance as we welcomed the Year of the Horse. In Vietnamese zodiac traditions, the Horse symbolizes energy, independence, and an unyielding drive for success. It is a year defined by “galloping” progress and a spirit of adventure. For our students, the Horse serves as an inspiration to pursue their academic and personal goals with confidence, making the high energy of this year’s fair particularly fitting.
A Campus Transformed by Tradition
The magic of the fair began weeks before the gates opened. Our students dedicated significant time to transforming the campus with traditional Tet decorations. The school was a sea of:

Lion Dancing and Student Showcases
The AVE Academy Tet Fair 2026 officially began with a breathtaking success: the traditional lion dance. The rhythmic beat of the drums and the energetic movements of the lions energized the audience, symbolically clearing the path for a prosperous year ahead.
Following the opening, our student classes took to the stage. Having spent weeks preparing, they performed traditional Vietnamese dances and songs that captivated the audience. It was a proud moment to see students and teachers alike wearing the Ao Dai, the elegant traditional Vietnamese tunic, representing our deep respect for local customs.
The Multicultural Tet Market
A highlight of the day was the Tet market, where parents and the wider community set up beautiful stalls. This market was a true sensory journey featuring:
