A Day of Kindness and Connection
This past week, our incredible IGCSE students embarked on a heartwarming journey to Kim Son Pagoda, a local sanctuary that provides vital education and resources to underprivileged children. It was a day filled with laughter, shared experiences, and the true spirit of giving back.
Our students, armed with their musical talents, engaged the children in lively sing-alongs and joyful music sessions. They also had the opportunity to practice their English skills with the children, fostering communication and building connections that transcended language barriers. Games filled the air with laughter as our students and the children from the pagoda came together in the spirit of play and friendship. It was truly inspiring to witness these interactions, where genuine bonds were formed and memories were made that will last a lifetime.
Fueled by Generosity
This visit was made even more special by the incredible support of our AVE Academy community. Thanks to our recent charity drive, which saw overwhelming generosity from our parents and partners, we were able to deliver a mountain of essential items to Kim Son Pagoda. Food, clothing, toys, and books were gratefully received, bringing smiles to the faces of the children and providing much-needed support to the pagoda.
We are immensely proud of our students for embracing this opportunity to make a difference. Their compassion and willingness to give back are a testament to the values we strive to instill at AVE Academy. We believe that fostering a sense of social responsibility is an integral part of education, and this experience has provided our students with a valuable lesson in empathy and the importance of contributing to their community.
