Hello and welcome to Year 3! My name is Mr. Tom Starobynski, and I’m very excited to be teaching at AVE Academy. Originally from the United States, I am now in my eighth year of teaching and have had the privilege of working in three different countries, gaining valuable international experience and insight into how students learn across cultures.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree and will be completing my Master’s Degree in Teaching this December. My teaching philosophy is centered on building strong relationships with my students — because learning thrives in an environment where everyone feels welcome, valued, and supported.
In my classroom, I aim to create a dynamic and interactive learning space where students are encouraged to think critically, collaborate, and express their ideas with confidence. I believe education should be both engaging and empowering, helping each child grow not just academically, but also personally and socially.
I’m looking forward to an exciting year of discovery, growth, and success with my Year 3 students at AVE Academy!
