Mr. Luke Evans brings 11 years of teaching experience, four in the UK and seven in Vietnam, to AVE Academy’s Year 5B classroom. A Drama graduate and qualified teacher with QTS from the UK, he believes that learning should be joyful, that students teach their teachers just as much as teachers teach their students, and that school should be a place every child genuinely wants to be.
Hi! I’m Mr. Luke, and I am the Year 5B teacher here at AVE Academy. I hope to create a wonderful, fun, and safe learning environment for your children.
I focus on making sure students are happy while they learn, because I believe a happy student gives themselves the best possible chance of success. I have eleven years of teaching experience, four in the UK and seven here in Vietnam. I have been lucky enough to work with primary students of all ages, and that experience has only reinforced what I believe: learning should be fun, and I can learn from my students just as much as they learn from me.
In my classroom, students should feel safe to speak up. I want them to be excited to come to school, to build on what they already know, and to discover the real joy of learning something new. School should be a happy place.
