Ms. Quynh Nguyen holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics and brings a deep love of mathematical problem solving to AVE Academy’s secondary Maths classroom. Her focus this year is on building lasting understanding for Years 9, 10, and 11 students as they prepare for Cambridge Checkpoint and IGCSE assessments.
Hello, my name is Quynh Nguyen, and I am delighted to be a Mathematics Teacher at AVE Academy.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Applied Mathematics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics Teacher Education from Hanoi National University of Education, and I have experience teaching the Cambridge Lower Secondary, IGCSE, and A-Level curricula. Mathematics has always fascinated me not just as a subject to teach but as a way of thinking and exploring the world.
I believe every student can develop their mathematical skills with the right guidance, regular practice, and a positive attitude. In my classroom I aim to foster a supportive, well-structured, and engaging environment where students feel comfortable sharing their ideas, asking questions, and taking ownership of their learning. Mistakes are part of the process. Asking questions is always welcome. The goal is genuine understanding, not just the right answer.
This year we are stepping up our academic focus significantly, building solid foundations for Year 10 IGCSE and running intensive preparation for Year 9 Cambridge Checkpoint and Year 11 IGCSE students. I want every student to walk into their assessments feeling prepared and confident.
