At AVE Academy, every primary classroom from Year 1 through Year 5 has a dedicated teaching assistant working alongside the class teacher every single day.

Our teaching assistants are bilingual, highly trained professionals who do far more than support the teacher. They are the bridge between the classroom and the family, the steady presence that helps a nervous child settle in, the patient voice that explains something in a different way until it clicks, and the person who notices when a student needs a little extra encouragement before anyone else does.
AVE Academy draws students from across the world, many of whom arrive with English as an additional language and the very real challenge of learning in a new environment. Our teaching assistants make that transition possible. They liaise daily with parents, communicate across language barriers, and ensure that not a single child feels lost or unseen in the classroom.
They are in every lesson. They know every student by name, by personality, and by what that particular child needs on any given day. They celebrate the breakthroughs and quietly support the struggles. They are, without question, one of the most important reasons our students thrive.
